Thanks Matt, glad you liked it. Indeed the spotlight is great at first to ramp up your score but the more planes spawn, and the faster they become, the harder ir is to make use of it.

And I totally agree about the sprite size. I made all of them in GIMP but didn't realize how big they were for a 64x64 game until I imported them in Godot. I was quite tight on time so decided to just roll with them.

Pros:
- Changing directions when shooting is a cool idea and it feels good
- Art style is coherent and it looks nice
- Hitting enemies feels good
Cons:
- I feel like getting claustrophobia playing, wish the objects were a bit smaller on the screen

Neat idea. Controls work well. You did a lot with 64x64 AND 1 bit color.
